Orville Peck brought Western flair — with sleek boots to match — to the GLSEN Rise Up LA Benefit Gala. The occasion raised funds for the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which supports LGBTQIA+ youth.
Peck arrived to the Gala’s red carpet at NeueHouse Hollywood on Saturday night, wearing a sharp pair of black boots. The “Bronco” musician’s style featured ponyhair uppers with almond-shaped toes, complete with black soles and short Cuban heels totaling at least 2 inches in height.
Boots like Peck’s leaned into the rise of heeled men’s footwear, where various styles are boosted with block heels, Cuban heels, platform soles and more height-boosting elements for dynamic flair. New pairs have been released from numerous brands in recent months, including Rick Owens, Christian Louboutin and Sunni Sunni — which have also grown in popularity for style stars including Miles Baguette, Sam Norris and Conan Gray.
Peck’s sleek footwear added a sharp base to his outfit for the Gala: a dapper black suit, layered atop an unbuttoned black and white-printed shirt and knotted black silk tie. The musician’s attire was complete with an embroidered black hat and several silver rings, as well as a face mask — one of his ongoing style signatures — featuring a leather base accented with braided white ropes.

During the occasion, Peck notably took to the stage to accept GLSEN’s Champion Award for championing greater inclusivity and representation for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Peck’s shoe style is edgy and sharp. The “Pony” musician regularly wears Western, cowboy and Cuban-heeled boots in a range of textures and colors, hailing from brands including Pskaufman. Since rising to fame in the 2020’s, Peck has also become one to watch in the fashion world, regularly attending runway shows for labels including Dior, Diesel, Christian Cowan, Rodarte and Eckhaus Latta.
