Olivia Wilde Switches Out of Adidas x Gucci Gazelle Sneakers for Athletic Adidas UltraBoost DNA 5.0 at the Gym

Olivia Wilde was photographed heading to the gym yesterday in Los Angeles.
The “House” star laced up a mustard yellow and red pair of Adidas x Gucci Gazelle sneakers with the brand’s iconic three stripes on the sides. The low-top footwear also included flexible gum rubber outsoles with textural yellow suede uppers and a sleek white lace-up silhouette. Wilde’s shoes were worn with coordinating red ankle socks.
These days, it’s hard not to walk down the block without seeing a pair of Adidas of some sort. Thanks to the tastemakers of our time, think Bella Hadid or Hailey Bieber, the style has had a renaissance of sorts. The footwear was first released in 1949 and was created in order to enable football players to train on icy, hard ground.
Wilde also carried a pair of Adidas UltraBoost DNA 5.0 in “Triple White” with breathable mesh uppers with an aerodynamic athletic silhouette. She likely switched out of her Sambas to her UltraBoost sneakers before beginning her workout.

Athletic sneakers of all kinds are a go-to style for Wilde. The sporty footwear is usually styled in casual situations accompanied by athleisure-adjacent wear which includes graphic T-shirts, biker shorts, sports bras and sweats.
Ready to sweat, the director donned a coordinating athletic set consisting of a sports bra and high-waisted leggings in green with white trim. Both her top and bottom were crafted of a stretchy fabric that likely offered Wilde a wide range of movement during her workout.
When it comes to shoes, Wilde often goes glamorous on the red carpet. The “In Time” actress regularly wears metallic and embellished heeled sandals and elevated platforms for formal occasions, hailing from top brands including Gucci, Christian Louboutin, Casadei and Jimmy Choo. Off-duty, Wilde is often more casual, slipping on Adidas sneakers, Steve Madden slippers and Lucchese ankle boots over the years.
