Olivia Rodrigo’s Shoe Style

Rodrigo burst into the pop spotlight in January 2021 with her smash debut single “Drivers License” and has been stepping out in bold style ever since. From her horse hoof Shushu Tong Mary Janes, worn to the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, to her Roger Vivier pumps sported at the 2024 “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” reception, Rodrigo has already had a handful of memorable shoe moments throughout the years.

Black leather boots by Dr. Martens, Naked Wolfe and Magda Butrym are some of her go-to styles, as well as sneakers by Vans and Converse. Her off-duty footwear also includes chunky platform boots, brogues,and slides by Miu Miu, Simon Miller and T.U.K. For more formal occasions, she can be seen in heeled styles by Giuseppe Zanotti, Nicholas Kirkwood, Nodaleto, and other high-end brands.

About Dr. Martens

Dr. Martens was launched as a work boot company in England in 1901 by the Griggs family. It was a collaboration in 1960 that gave Dr. Martens boots their iconic “Bouncing Soles” air-cushioned technology, between the Griggs family and Dr. Klaus Maertens, who had designed the sole to aid the healing of a broken foot. In 1970s England, Dr. Martens boots between the part of the uniform for punks, goths and other anti-establishment youth.

Dr. Martens has released many limited-edition designs with musicians and artists, as well as designer collaborations. The brand recently linked up with streetwear giant Supreme on color-changing shoes and Rick Owens for tall boots with even taller tongues and big soles.
