Making her way through West Village, comfortable flat footwear has been the singer’s go-to shoe choice over these past several weeks. On Sunday, the “Get Him Back” star was seen wearing a black leather pair of Dr. Martens 8065 Mary Jane shoes which featured the signature yellow welt stitching associated with the brand, Goodyear-welted bouncing soles and two buckle straps to complete the look.

When Rodrigo isn’t wearing adidas or Dr. Martens for casual outings, she still typically prefers wearing flat shoes that aren’t super tall in heel height. In January, the star attended “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” Q&A session in Los Angeles in a pair of shiny black slingback pumps. The shoes were elevated by a triangle shaped toe box and large decorative buckle adornments as the prominent feature.

About the shoes

The Adidas Samba was honored with the Shoe of the Year award at the 37th annual FN Achievement Awards in 2023. The trendy shoes were crafted in full-grain leather, complete with suede material and gold foil detailing. A synthetic leather lining and lace closure system are built into the silhouette for comfort and breathability, and a gum rubber cupsole supports the bottom part of the shoe for durability and traction.
