Olivia Holt is not afraid of getting her whites dirty. The actress attended Beyond Fest on Tuesday in Santa Monica. While there, the performer attended the screening of her new project, “Heart Eyes.”
For that event, she chose a crop top and skirt lace Shushu/Tong outfit from the brand’s spring 2024 collection. Instead of the white undergarments that the look was shown with, Holt opted for visible black lingerie.
For shoes, Holt kept up the sheer and cutout vibes of her look. Instead of wearing classic white pumps she chose Manc’s white Lilith heels. Those calf leather shoes are a d’orsay style pump meaning that they feature a upper divided into two halves: the front half comprises the pointed-toe box and the back half cups around the heel of the foot. The middle of d’orsay silhouettes are open, exposing the middle of the foot.
The Lilith in particular features two cutouts on the back half, providing the sort of exposure that a sandal might. On the front of the shoe there is a harness like detail that has a small gold embellishment on the vamp. The sole of the shoes are a royal blue which is a signature of the Istanbul-based leather goods brand.
The stiletto of the style is about 3.5 inches.
Manc is the latest in a series of shoe companies that have made a specific sole color their signature. Christian Louboutin has made red lacquered soles their signature. They’ve been using that since 1992 and have defended the right to do so in court. Santoni uses a bright orange sole typically in its designs. Rene Caovilla offers a glittery “stardust” sole that it has been utilizing since 2008. Manc was founded in 2018.
