Nina Dobrev hit the red carpet in a custom Atelier Versace gown and sleek patent leather pumps for the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s 2023 Albie Awards in New York City last night.
On foot, the “Vampire Diaries” alum wore glossy black heels featuring a timeless peep-toe design and an ankle-strap fastening. The stiletto style just poked out from underneath her romantic gown’s flowing skirt.
Dobrev donned a semi-sheer black lace corset dress boasting a strappy neckline. The Canadian actress accessorized her glamorous look with gold hoop earrings and a selection of gold and diamond bracelets on her right wrist.
Dobrev was joined by her boyfriend, three-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, who was also outfitted in Versace. The snowboarder and founder of winter sportswear brand, Whitespace, dressed in a black double-breasted suit with a black shirt and shiny black patent leather lace-up dress shoes.
The Albies, which were held at the New York Public Library, are an annual awards ceremony hosted by George and Amal Clooney’s Clooney Foundation for Justice honoring defenders of justice spanning a range of fields. The honorees this year include Dr. Denis Mukwege, the NGO Truth Hounds, the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression, Thai Lawyers for Human Rights and Niloofar Hamedi and Elahe Mohammadi.
When it comes to Nina Dobrev’s shoe style, she’s shown a love of chic pumps, boots and sandals from luxury brands like Saint Laurent, Gucci, Valentino and Jimmy Choo over the years. The “Perks of Being a Wallflower” actress is also a fan of affordable sneakers like Converse Chuck Taylors and Reebok’s Club C.
