Nicole Kidman pulled a look from the archives for the Gotham Awards in New York City last night.
The actress, who was nominated for outstanding lead performance for “Babygirl” at the Gothams, hit the star-studded red carpet in a silk floral Dolce & Gabbana gown from the Italian fashion house’s Fall 1998 collection. The black full-length dress was hand-painted with various types of flowers in pink, purple, orange, and yellow. Green leaves were included in the colorful design, too. Skinny shoulder straps combined with a straight neckline and a train tied the ’90s vintage look together.
Kidman opted to pair the sleek dress with coordinating black satin pumps. The style featured an elongated pointy-toe silhouette with a rounded vamp and a slender high heel that appeared to be around 3 inches high.

The “Perfect Couple” star has served her fair share of high fashion looks on the red carpet in the past year. Working with stylist Jason Bolden, Kidman wore a show-stopping red gown and matching pointed heels at the GQ Men of the Year Awards on Nov. 19. She donned head-to-toe Balenciaga, including the brand’s iconic Knife pumps.
Earlier last month, she wore another Dolce & Gabbana gown with possibly the same black pumps from the Gotham Awards at the “Spellbound” premiere. The long white gown boasted billowy sleeves and sheer details with intricate floral embroidery throughout.
Kidman’s stylist Jason Bolden also works with “Wicked” star Cynthia Erivo, Cara Delevigne, Sabrina Carpenter, and Gabrielle Union and husband Dwyane Wade.
The “Big Little Lies” actress has showcased some bold fashion throughout her decades-long career. In the ’90s and early 2000s, she was known to wear figure-hugging dresses, sequined looks, strappy sandals, and classic pumps. Not much has changed, her style has just become more modern and refined.
