The next generation of professional football players has gathered at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Ala., for the 2025 NFL Draft, where University of Miami quarterback and Under Armour athlete Cam Ward is predicted to be the number one pick, which would take him to the Tennessee Titans.
Ward and his fellow talented peers dressed to the nines for the occasion, where friends, family, fans and icons of the sport celebrate the new players who will shake up the league. Most draft prospects are showcasing a dapper suit look, and their personalities are shining through their sartorial choices in a myriad of ways. This includes shoes as well — complementary footwear picks seen thus far range from monochrome sneakers to velvet loafers. Discover Ward and more athletes’ draft night looks below.
All eyes are on Ward tonight, and he dressed up for the occasion in a tan suit with a simple white top. He described his outfit in part in a red carpet interview ahead of the draft, “Just a little smooth fit. Little fit I got from Boss. Little Alexander McQueens — shoes that I like rocking, big fan of those.” He wore a pair of all-white lace-up sneakers from the brand.
Mason Graham of the University of Michigan paired a black knit shirt with a gray suit and black belt. He went with a pair of black leather lace-up shoes to complement his formal look.
Ashton Jeanty of Boise State University complemented his burgundy and black suit with custom Crocs from an upcoming collection between the clog brand and Swarovski. The shoes feature a crystal-embellished dragonfly wing design — and he’s wearing a bespoke black version of the footwear style.
Shemar Stewart of Texas A&M University made a statement in an emerald green suit, a color scheme which he maintained with his velvet loafers. A big cat motif was also present throughout his outfit, displayed on his shoes and through a large chain necklace.
Jihaad Campbell of the University of Alabama displayed a monochrome look for the special day, donning black loafers to go with a double-breasted suit jacket and skinny trousers.
Tetairoa McMillan of University of Arizona stood out with a purple suit accented by a black turtleneck and black Nike sneakers with patterned laces.
