Natalie Portman spoke on stage at the IAA Conference on Affordable Sustainable Mobility during the IAA Mobility 2023 event held today in Munich, Germany.
The “Black Swan” actress stepped out in a pair of wedge open-toe sandals. Portman’s lofty sandals featured black cloth uppers that transitioned into thick black sturdy straps that sat overtop her feet and around her ankles, securing the footwear in place. The shoe style can be best likened to espadrilles.
The wedges offered the thespian a substantial boost, around 3 to 4 inches. Sandal heels of all kinds are becoming a staple item in many celebrities’ closets, Portman included.
Getting preppy, Portman donned a pink and white and black plaid tweed two-piece set reminiscent of style icons like Cher Horowitz from “Clueless.” The style was comprised of a pleated miniskirt that was belted along with a cropped structural jacket featuring gold button closures.
Layered underneath her jacket, the “Leon: The Professional” star sported a white and metallic silver graphic T-shirt tucked into her skirt. Rounding out her look, the Golden Globe Award-winner wore her dark brown tresses simply straightened and parted down the middle cascading down her back.
Portman’s shoe style is colorful and chic. On the red carpet, the actress regularly wears heeled sandals in a range of hues and metallic tones from Dior — she’s been a brand ambassador for the brand since 2010 — as well as brands including Jimmy Choo and Piferi. Off-duty, she can also be seen in paneled Nike sneakers and Dr. Martens combat boots.
