Natalie Portman showcased a glitzy head-to-toe Dior look at the brand’s opening preview for Christian Dior’s “Miss Dior Exhibition — Stories of a Miss” at the Roppongi Museum in Tokyo on Wednesday.
Crafted in a sleek silver shade, the shoes were emphasized by a triangular toe box, and a singular silver strap across the upper. Also featuring a sleek silver ankle strap with a buckle, the silhouette was completed by a super thin stiletto heel that ranged between 3 to 4 inches in height. The “Black Swan” actress paired her lavish stilettos with a crystal-embedded dress from the brand that included fringes at the end.
Tying her hair back in a middle-part bun, she wore matching silver dangling earrings as her standout accessory.

Portman is a fan of elevated sandals and pumps for major red carpet appearances and fashion events. For the “Deadline: Contenders” event in Los Angeles in November 2023, the Oscar-winning actress stepped out in a pair of black satin sandals that featured an open-toe design, a black strap in the upper and a black ankle strap that complimented the heeled base.
In September 2023, Portman attended the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Summit in a pair of Christian Dior pumps with mesh paneling. Designed for an elegant look, the pumps featured a precise pointed-toe construction, an exterior made of black suede and mesh, a gold-toned “CD” logo on the vamp and a curved heel that clocked in at 4 inches.
That same month, the actress wore preppy wedge open-toe sandals for the IAA Conference on Affordable Sustainable Mobility in Munich, Germany. The sandals featured black cloth uppers that transitioned into thick, black, sturdy straps that sat over her feet and around her ankles and an elevated platform that measured between 3-to-4 inches.
Portman is known for her elevated chic footwear style and counts Dior, Prada, Versace, Stuart Weitzman and other designers as some of her favorites in the couture space.
