Naomi Watts Wears Black Pointed Toe Pumps With Super Tall Teen Son Sasha Schreiber on ‘The Friend’ Red Carpet

Naomi Watts and her son Sacha Schreiber decided to match while promoting the actress’ new film.
The pair took to the red carpet at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall during New York Film Festival on Thursday night to promote Watts’ latest project, “The Friend.” For it, they both wore all black, with Watts in a classic pump that had a small twist.
Watts’ shoe was a fairly standard black stiletto heel, widely viewed as one of the most versatile heels in a woman’s wardrobe. Covering all of the outer edges of the foot, the black stiletto pump can serve for a variety of styles from evening gown to jeans and shorts, as well as colors. Watts chose a pair from Jimmy Choo in patent leather. The shoe also has a square-cut vamp.

While the sharply pointed toe is a common silhouette for the style, Choo’s Ixia has a small twist. The heel of almost four inches sports a small bulb at the bottom of the stiletto. The company refers to it as a “drop,” and the Ixia is one in a series of drop heels that come in a variety of heights.
The shoe also sports the company’s logo on the back collar. The Jimmy Choo Ixia in black patent leather is currently sold by the brand for $975. Others like FarFetch have it for as low as $714.
The shoes anchored Watts’ look which was a strapless dress from Schiaparelli. The dress featured a sheer bodice as well as a bulbous, black skirt. The skirt in ways seemed to mimic the silhouette of the stiletto heel.
Schreiber also went all black. He wore a black skinny suit featuring a simply black t-shirt with a pair of chunky black Balenciaga boots. The shoes sport a thick soul with a deep tread. The lace up footwear is made up of canvas and includes Balenciaga’s washed and worn-out effect which has become a signature under current designer Demna.
The shoes are the company’s Strike boots which has military influence.
Watts began dating Liev Schreiber in 2005 and they were together for a decade before they split in 2016. They pair welcomed two children together, Sasha and Kai.
