Naomi Watts is having fun with her style while promoting her new film “The Friend.” She stars in the dramady alongside, Constance Wu, Carla Gugino, Bill Murray, and a massive dog.

For the New York premiere on Monday, Watts decided to match her co-star and hit the red carpet in a look from Jacquemus that included a white skirt with furry spots, which winked at the coat of the dog, whose name is Bing. Bing walked the carpet with Watts, and the actress happily showed off their coordinated looks.

In fact, Watts kept the shoes she wore to the premiere to wear on Tuesday as she headed out to an interview for “Good Morning America” on Tuesday in a blue Emilia Wickstead dress. The shoes were the perfect little pair of Gianvito Rossi sandals. The actress opted for the company’s Ascent style. All white, the style is made of leather and includes a classic pointed toe.

There’s also a slingback strap featuring a round gold buckle. The heel is just over two inches that adds to the design thanks to its flared silhouette. Gianvito Rossi sells the Ascent kitten heel in multiple colors for $950.

Kitten heels are often renown for their comfort. Styles like the Gianvito Rossi Ascent remain feminine and stylish while not involving the pain a stiletto might require. For her interview though, Watts changed. She wore a pair of white patent leather Gianvito Rossi pumps which she kept on as she left the studio.

Slingback shoes have been a constant over the past year or so with celebrities. In fact, Jeannie Mai was just spotted in a pair filming “Good Day New York” today. But in addition, others like Gigi Hadid, Sydney Sweeney, Tracee Ellis Ross and Demi Moore have all worn them. They vary in height and style and span designers. For example, Jacquemus’ Cubisto slingback, featuring its bow at the vamp has been worn by Pamela Anderson, as well as Monica Barbaro. Meanwhile, Yara Shahidi recently wore Gucci’s super-tall horsebit platform slingback heels.

Demi Moore hit up the Independent Spirit Awards this year in a Thom Browne slingback that featured a gold, curved heel. The shoe itself was designed to mimic a penny loafer while incorporating cutouts into that design.
