Monica Barbaro blazed in red Christian Louboutin strappy sandals while attending the SAG Awards in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday night.
Sporting a pair of the Loubi Queen Alta sandals, the shoes were crafted in a fiery-red satin color, sitting atop a platform base that measured between 3-to-4 inches in height. Per the brand, the shoes also feature Loubi crepe satin straps that delicately frame the foot. Securing her feet in place was a slender red ankle strap, with a silver buckle. The shoes were neatly finished with a stiletto heel that clocked in at nearly 6 inches. A pair typical retails for $1,095.
The sandals were a compliment to her matching v-cut res dress, which featured a plunging neckline and sculpted design. Featuring a slight slit towards the bottom, the length of the gown extended past her shoes for an elegant look.
Platform Louboutin’s seemed to be a common theme during this year’s SAG Awards, which isn’t a surprise considering Christian Louboutin continues to be among the most globally recognized and popular luxury shoe designers. Recognized for their red bottoms and high-quality craftsmanship, many celebrities often turn to the designer for high-profile events and occasions.
Also wearing Christian Louboutin for the ceremony was Anna Sawai, who opted for a pair of the brand’s Amali Alta sandals, which were crafted with patent calf leather material, and characterized by their elegant design. Present on the upper was a medium-sized patent leather strap made with a shiny black color.
Similar to Barbaro’s Loubi Queen Alta sandals, the silhouette was emphasized by its open-toe construction; the shoe sat atop a platform base ranging somewhere between 1.5 to 2 inches in height. Rounding out the silhouette was a thick heel, clocking in over 5 inches in height.
