Monica Barbaro showed off a demure black and white outfit accented by silver Prada sandals at a photocall in Italy for “A Complete Unknown” on Jan. 17.
Barbaro, who plays Joan Baez in the Bob Dylan biopic, looked classically chic in a crisp white button-down with a sparkling brooch serving as a focal point of the look. Emanating an aura of effortless glamour, the shirt had unfastened buttons at the top and the sleeves were rolled up to the elbow. Creating a timeless contrasting color scheme, she wore a pair of wide-leg black trousers. Barbaro’s jewelry was of the understated and elegant variety as well, with some of the pieces including a tennis bracelet and hoop earrings.
In a subtly chic footwear moment, a pair of silver metallic Prada sandals could be seen peeking out beneath her pants. The shoes featured a minimalist slender strap across the toes as well as a statement-making pointed toe bearing the brand’s logo. The shoes resembled this black pair currently being sold on Poshmark for $1,450.
Barbaro modeled a similar footwear style with a deep purple minidress at a Golden Globes party earlier in the month, though that pair was a square-toe silhouette hailing from Gianvito Rossi. Her co-star Elle Fanning was also sporting Gianvito Rossi on that occasion, matching the Elle mule, an apt choice, to an animal print dress. Jennifer Lopez and Georgina Rodriguez are among the other stars to have worn that particular style.
