Miss Venezuela Diana Silva dazzled on stage during the 72nd Miss Universe pageant held on Saturday at Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador. Jojo Bragais is the footwear sponsor of tonight’s event.
For her first appearance on stage, Silva sported a pair of on-trend silver strappy sandal heels. The footwear featured high-shine uppers accompanied by thick knotted straps that sat atop the model’s toes.
Although the footwear was eclipsed by the lengthy hem of her dress, Silva’s shoes likely included straps that wrapped around her ankles, threaded through buckle closures. 3 to 4 inch stiletto heels seemingly rounded out the set, offering the star a subtle boost. Metallic footwear is exceedingly popular, becoming a trend in 2023 thanks to the likes of Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
Accompanying her metallic footwear, Silva was outfitted in a hot pink floor-sweeping gown featuring a sequined print and a criss-crossing strappy low back. The pageant contestant wore striking dangling gold earrings and styled her dark tresses in voluminous face-framing waves.

For the swimwear portion of the competition, Silva chose a purple one-piece by Rubin Singer that she accessorized with strappy nude sandals by Jojo Bragais.
Silva is a model, environmental activist and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Venezuela 2022. She was previously crowned Miss Earth Venezuela 2018. Silva has partnered with various non-profit organizations, the most prominent being her ecological work that she has been carrying out since 2018 in the Caracas botanical garden. During the 72nd Miss Universe Competition National Costume Show held on Thursday, Silva was outfitted in a dragon-inspired look cast in glittering red hues.
