Mikey Madison attended the 97th Annual Academy Awards Nominees Dinner held yesterday in Los Angeles. Madison is currently nominated for her work in “Anora” under the category “Actress In A Leading Role” among the likes of Cynthia Erivo, Demi Moore and Fernanda Torres, just to name a few.
The “Scream” star was dinner-ready in a pair of black Aquazzura sandal heels. Retailing for $795, the Divine silhouette included textural black suede uppers that transitioned into open almond-shaped toes and thick crisscrossing straps that sat atop Madison’s feet. Adjustable buckle closures in gold gave way to thin but secure ankle straps and leather soles embossed with the designer brand’s logo.
4.1-inch stiletto heels finished off the all-black set, offering the thespian a boost. Sandal styles are exceedingly popular amongst many top stars, especially for special occasions like this one. Pamela Anderson, Chloe Bailey, Paris Jackson, Heidi Klum and Ashley Graham are just a few popular figures who have an affinity for the style. Black or red, suede or leather, sandal heels add a formal touch to any ensemble it’s paired with.
Bringing all the drama, the “Lady in the Lake” actress donned a vintage blue and black silk and velvet
Bill Blass fall 1987 gown. The daring garment was sleeveless and featured a dainty and whimsical feather print.
“Anora” is a romance and comedy film released on Oct. 18, 2024. Directed by Sean Baker, the film follows Anora, a young woman from Brooklyn, who gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and marries the son of an oligarch. Once the news reaches Russia, her fairytale is threatened as the parents set out for New York to get the marriage annulled.
The film features the talents of Mikey Madison, Yura Borisov and Mark Eidelstein, among others. “Anora” is currently nominated for six Oscar categories including “Original Screenplay” and “Best Supporting Actor.”
