Melania Trump Pops On Striking Red Leather Pumps at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee

Melania Trump attended the fourth day of the Republican National Convention held today in Milwaukee, Wis. The political figure made her appearance ahead of her husband and former President Donald Trump’s speech to the crowd.

Matching her attire for the evening, Melania roused the convention in a pair of bright red leather pumps. The striking pair was comprised of glossy leather uppers, sharp knife-like pointed toes and stiletto heels.

Where footwear is concerned, Melania is all about classic brands and equally classic silhouettes. The political figure tends to gravitate towards neutral styles, specifically a simple black or tan pump. In recent years, however, she’s foregone her heeled styles for flats hailing from the likes of Chanel and Christian Louboutin. This change is clearly a more comfortable one, acting to support and cradle the wearer’s feet rather than lifting them into an arched shape.

Melania’s look was comprised of a chic blazer fixed with glossy coordinating red buttons accompanied by a pencil skirt that sat just below her knees. The ensemble was simple but effective, matching the color scheme of many of the women of the Republican party she joined in the stands. The look is common ground for the former model and one she gravitates towards often for formal occasions.

Melania can often be seen in pointed-toe pumps and flats in hues of black and white by her go-to designer, Christian Louboutin. However, she also dons similar styles from Alaia, Roger Vivier and Dior.

Delegates, politicians and Republicans have gathered in Milwaukee for the annual convention, concluding with former President Donald Trump accepting his party’s presidential nomination. The Republican National Convention takes place from July 15-18. The 4-day convention is broadcast across the world and hosts upwards of 50,000 guests in Milwaukee.
