Mel B Channels Her Own Spice Girls Style in Le Silla Leopard Print Boots at ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 20 Premiere
Mel B proved that girl power and leopard print never go out of fashion in a pair of Le Silla thigh-high boots at the “America’s Got Talent” red carpet Season 20 premiere on Wednesday.
The former Spice Girl stepped out in a fitted cream lace long-sleeve mini dress and bold statement boots from the Italian footwear designer. The “Eva” shoes feature a sharp pointed-toe, a 110mm (4.33-inches) stiletto heel and a fitted thigh-high design. The outer is made of vinyl, with a goat skin lining, giving them a glossy sheen. She wore smoky, sparkly makeup by Hendra Nasril and her hair in a high braided bun with bedazzled baby hairs.
Pointed-toe shoes have returned to fashion in recent years after their heyday in the ’80s and ’90s. Today, pointed-toes can be found on many shoe silhouettes, from boots of all heights, to sling-backs, pumps, even open-toed stiletto sandals. The most-classic, rather-timeless style is a pointed-toe stiletto pump, with Christian Louboutin’s So Kate pumps a bona-fide red carpet staple.

Pointed-toe boots, ranging from ankle boots to thigh-highs, are often paired with a stiletto heel of varying height, although they can also be found atop trendy block heels. Prada, Larroudé, Christian Louboutin, Paris Texas, Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo and Balenciaga all make a variety of pointed-toe boots and shoes.
Bold animal print, particular leopard, is a staple of Mel B’s closet, dating back to the mid-’90s Spice Girl reign. She’s been channeling her wild side while promoting her new memoir “Brutally Honest,” donning a parade of edgy leopard print getups.
On Monday, she paired a leopard print coat with denim lace-up Philipp Plein Kobra open-toe boots and red animal print tights on “The View.” Earlier that day, on the “Tamron Hall Show,” she made her love known in head-to-toe leopard print, in a halter jumpsuit and another pair of Philipp Plein shoes, these ones a pair of patent leather pumps.
Mel B returns as judge on “America’s Got Talent,” after working on the show from 2013 to 2018 and two of its spin-off shows in 2019 and 2024. She is taking Heidi Klum’s place, as the former model is returning to twenty-first season of “Project Runway this year. She joins Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara in the judges’ seats, with Terry Crews returning as host. The long-running NBC talent show premieres on May 27.
