Meghan Markle was out last night in support of her friend Tyler Perry, who was honored at The Paley Gala in Los Angeles on Dec. 4.
Markle selected a strapless black gown for the occasion. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline, a form-fitting bodice and a flowing skirt with a slit allowing for leg-baring moments. The garment also featured a long train trailing the floor, creating an extra sense of formal elegance. A dazzling single-strand diamond necklace rested above her collarbone in a rounded shape while her hair was tied back with wisps in front.
Markle stepped into a pair of classic heels to elevate her look and create a cohesive aesthetic. The “Suits” star is likely wearing the Stuart Weitzman “Nudistsong” strappy sandal in black, which retails for $475. She is known to have a series of designer heels on rotation and previously wore this design while in New Zealand in October 2018. She also wore them for the Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Totem’ premiere in London in January 2019.
Keeping things chicly minimalist, the shoes featured a horizontal strap across the toes and another slender piece of fabric encircling the ankle. This simplistic design was boosted by a tall stiletto heel. This type of silhouette can also be found from Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren and more labels.
Markle is no stranger to a heel, whether its a Jimmy Choo kitten heel or a Manolo Blahnik pump. She is also a fan of Aquazzura, having worn multiple styles from the brand headed up by Edgardo Osorio, who received the Designer of the Year award on Dec. 4 at the 38th annual Footwear News Achievement Awards.
Tyler Perry was honored at the gala the day after the premiere of his latest film “The Six Triple Eight,” which stars Kerry Washington.
