Meghan Markle Goes Classic in Aquazzura Pumps at Variety Power of Women 2023

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, attended the 2023 Variety Power of Women held on Thursday in Los Angeles. Beyond Markle, other notable attendees included Emily Blunt, Billie Eilish, Carey Mulligan, Addison Rae, Garcelle Beauvais, Dua Lipa, Margot Robbie, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Tia Mowry, among others.
The “Suits” star sported a pair of Dangerous Liaisons black pointed-toe pumps from Aquazzura for the star-studded event. Markle’s footwear comprised mixed glossy patent leather and suede uppers that transitioned into geometric cut-outs, sharp triangular pointed toes and arched leather soles.
4-inch stiletto finished off the neutral-toned set, offering the thespian a conservative boost in height. The designer footwear retails for $895 and also comes in alternative “Pink” and “Burgundy” colorways.

Black pumps are a closet staple for many stars, given their versatility. Beyond Williams, top stars like Eva Longoria and Taraji P. Henson have worn equally sleek black pumps as of late for formal obligations, including photoshoots and red-carpet appearances.
Dressed sleek and sophisticated, the royal was outfitted in a singular shoulder Proenza Schouler maxi dress in a neutral shade. The garment featured a fitted bodice and a front-facing slit that acted to diversify the dress’s silhouette.
Rounding out her look, Markle toted a black leather Proenza Schouler mini shoulder bag which she wore without the strap, turning it into a clutch. The Dutchess’ dark tresses were parted down the middle and slicked back, gathered into an updo worn out of her face. For the finishing touches, Markle sported small gold hoops, offering her look a dazzling touch.
As previously stated, one of Markle’s go-to shoe styles is pointed-toe pumps, which she wears in neutral and tonal hues from Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Aquazzura and more top labels. When off-duty, her streamlined, versatile style also incorporates Valentino flats, Nike sneakers and Hunter boots.
