Megan Thee Stallion Models Sadi Studios’ Pop Fluffy Pink Sneaker While Visiting South Korea

Megan Thee Stallion’s style knows no continental bounds. During a trip to Seoul, South Korea, the rapper displayed her sartorial savvy in multiple posts shared to social media. In one set of pictures showing off a cozy-cute ensemble, she wears a gray sweater set with pink plush shoes from size inclusive footwear brand Sadi Studios.

The “Mamushi” artist was decked out in a fitted gray sweater with a striped collar and sleeves. Her pants were a light gray hue and featured foldover pockets as well as striped ruffly layers below the knee. Another knit piece somewhere between a skirt and an apron was tied around her waist, adding another element to the layered look. The highly coordinated ensemble also included two thin scarves, one striped with gray, the other more colorful and matched to another layer that partially covered her shoes.

Her shoes were Sadi Studios’ Pop sneaker, which retails for $249. Available in five colors including pink, the shoes feature a puffy silhouette by way of padding and a fluffy upper. The sneakers also include metallic hardware detailing.

FN reached out to the brand regarding the rapper promoting their shoe and they said they were “stoked” about her rocking their shoe, especially since the post was shared on the same day as their second anniversary. “We are super excited Megan wore our shoes in Seoul,” the brand told FN, adding that the Grammy winner wore their shoes in the color teal as well during her trip.

Sadi Studios launched in 2022, a joint effort between veteran footwear designer Soyeon “Sarah” Ahn Ianni and business developer Dominic Ianni. Ahn Ianni said back then that the brand’s creations draw inspiration from various sources, including Korea: “My design inspiration comes from animé and my cultural experience of living in Korea, Scotland, London. I love contemporary design, high-end and then fun and kitsch. Sadi is a melting pot of all of those things.”

A known anime fan herself, Megan Thee Stallion also showed off a “Sailor Moon”-inspired look while in South Korea, showing her dedication to the franchise with a pair of Jimmy Choo boots made in collaboration with “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.” The navy blue bow-adorned knee-high boots were released earlier this year as a part of Jimmy Choo’s second collaborative collection with the popular anime series.
