Meg Ryan Stands Tall in Platform Prada D’Orsay Sandals in Rare Appearance at the Oscars 2025

Meg Ryan graced the red carpet in sky-high footwear at the 97th Annual Academy Awards held tonight in Los Angeles.
The “When Harry Met Sally” star flattered her feet in a pair of Prada platform sandals in black. Retailing for $1,320, the D’Orsay style featured textural satin black uppers that transitioned into unique square peep toes.
The sandal silhouette also included thin straps threaded through adjustable buckle closures that secured the shoe to Ryan’s feet. Triangular enamel logo detailing decorated the toes, making the footwear instantly recognizable. Giving the thespian a boost, the D’Orsay shoe also featured sturdy 4.5 inch block heels and equally lofty platform soles standing at 1.6 inches. Logo-embossed soles finished out the set, creating a non-slip feel.
The designer style can be found in a slew of finishes beyond satin, including leather, velvet and patent leather. The shoe also comes in vibrant shades like neon pink and metallic silver.
