Meagan Good shined in leather boots while attending the Los Angeles premiere of Amazon MGM Studios’ “The Fire Inside” at the Directors Guild of America.
Appearing alongside fiance Jonathan Majors, the thigh-boots were constructed with leather and extended beyond her kneecap. Also built with a scrunchy design, the silhouette was characterized by its extended pointed-toe design, and while the rest of her shoes couldn’t be seen completely, it is likely the boots were rounded out by a sharp stiletto heel measuring between 4-to-5 inches in height. The boots looked similar to Stuart Weitzman’s Ultrastuart 100 Stretch Boot.
Tucked inside of her shoes were a pair of light blue denim jeans, which the actress paired with black silk bralette and matching blazer. Keeping her makeup simple, she completed her look with a camouflage ball cap.
Fiancé Jonathan Majors opted for a black leather jacket, which he paired over a black shirt and black joggers. On his feet were a pair of black and white Nike dunks, which are made with rubber and leather material, and emphasized by their contrasting black laces that sit against a white design.
Good’s choice of boots are a reflection of the fall and winter season where boots are a staple for many celebrities as they go to their events and casual outings, as many notable celebrities have been spotted wearing them over the course of these past couple of weeks.
Last month, Giuseppe Zanotti and Mary J. Blige continued their collaboration with a white patent thigh-high version of The Mary Boot. Originally created as an over-the-knee boot in shiny rose gold, the latest iteration of the new Mary Boot in white patent is the exact style worn by Blige onstage at her Strength of a Woman festival earlier this year.
Blige is one of many celebrities who frequently embrace the thigh-high boot look.
