Maya Hawke attended the premiere of “Wildcat” alongside her father, Ethan Hawke, during the 50th Telluride Film Festival held in Telluride, Colo., on Friday.
The young thespian stepped into lug-sole leather boots with rounded toes and a glossy patent leather finish. The sleek pair was ankle-length and streamlined Maya’s silhouette while the thick and flexible soles offered the star a small boost in height. The soles of her boots were equipped with non-slip tread.
The style is rugged and sturdy, offering the wearer ease of movement in a fashionable utilitarian style that’s versatile. Maya gravitates toward ankle-length silhouettes cast in neutral tones. Beyond black, the popular silhouette can be found in a range of colors and prints from both high and low-end brands including Dr. Martens, Timberland and Hunter.
Ringing in fall, Maya donned a “Canadian Tuxedo,” colloquially known as a denim-on-denim look. The thespian sported an oversized denim jacket worn overtop a white and black striped T-shirt. Rounding out her look, Maya sported baggy jeans in a coordinating wash to her jacket.
The 50th Telluride Film Festival is held from Aug. 31, 2023, to Sept. 4, 2023, in Telluride, Colo. The events line-up of will premiere some of the year’s most highly anticipated films including Alexander Payne’s “The Holdovers,” Emerald Fennell’s “Saltburn,” Free Solo filmmakers Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin’s narrative feature “Nyad,” Andrew Haigh’s “All of Us Strangers,” George C. Wolfe’s “Rustin” and Ethan Hawke’s “Wildcat” among others.
“Wildcat” is an upcoming biographical drama detailing the life and struggles of American novelist Flannery O’Connor. Directed by Ethan Hawke, the film features an all-star cast including Maya Hawke, Liam Neeson and Laura Linney to name a few.
