Maya Hawke sat front row at Prada’s fall 2023 runway show during Milan Fashion Week this morning. The actress brought an edgy style with classic staples to the event.
The “Stranger Things” actor wore a blue and white plaid collared shirt with sheer black tights, embracing the “no-pants” trend.
The look recalled the “no-pants” trend that influencers such as Ariana Grande, Olivia Culpo and countless more embraced ubiquitously on the streets throughout 2018. It made a revival on “The Voice” with Camila Cabello, and Tia Mowry also wore the trend while posing on Instagram.
Hairstylist John Nollet gave Hawk’s hair a naturally disheveled style with wavy layers. On her neck, she wore a Prada gold and black plated necklace while sporting a black and silver-zippered handbag.
For footwear, Hawke chose Mary Jane heels. The preppy shoe featured a modern almond-toe vamp, a silver buckle accenting the strap of the shoe and a thick heel that was 2 inches high.

Mary Jane footwear continues to thrive with its many silhouettes, from towering high as platform pumps to staying low to the ground with an angular heel, they elevate an array of textures, patterns and skirts.
Last June, Hawke donned wide-leg denim with a shiny pair of ultra-low Mary Jane sandals on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the unique style was layered by four straps. She debuted her take on preppy footwear while discussing her role in “Stranger Things,” and her personal passion for music.
Along with joining season three of “Stranger Things,” Hawke became one of the faces for Prada’s inaugural fine jewelry campaign, a collection titled Eternal Gold centered around sustainability.
