Margot Robbie brought her best “Barbiecore” look to the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards held in Los Angeles on Sunday. The Australian thespian is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her part in the 2023 film “Barbie.”
Keeping with her all-pink streak which harkened back to her days spent promoting the “Barbie” film, Robbie donned a pair of hot pink pumps. The striking set was comprised of matt hot pink leather uppers that transitioned into sharp triangular toes.
The sophisticated style also included 3 to 4-inch thin stiletto heels. The pumps perfectly punctuated the Barbie theme, creating a cohesive and certainly monochrome moment. Pumps, no matter the color, are a favorite of many celebrities, Robbie included. The silhouette was exceedingly popular with the “Suicide Squad” star during the “Barbie” press tour.
Channeling 1977’s Superstar Barbie for the night, Robbie wore a hot pink sequin dress hailing from Giorgio Armani. The garment was form-fitted and featured a halter-style neckline in the shape of a v. Robbie wore a mesh and tulle boa draped elegantly over her arms dotted with sequin detailing that mimicked the same detailing on her dress. For the finishing touches, Robbie carried a sparkly hot pink clutch.
