Malika Haqq was among the notable guests to attend the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas this weekend.

“The Kardashians” reality star opted to wear a bright, Santa Claus-red ensemble for the occasion. She paired a cozy oversized V-neck sweater with long trousers that draped seamlessly around her sharp pointed boots. Haqq finished off the vibrant, casual yet chic look with a gold diamond necklace, diamond stud earrings, and an ivory leather Bottega Veneta pouch bag featuring a chunky gold chain-link shoulder strap.

Haqq wore Balenciaga‘s ankle-length boots that rest on a 3-inch stiletto heel. The style features a stretchy shaft that allows wearers to pull them on and remove them with ease.

The brand’s Knife boots have been everywhere for years since their release, with the entire Kardashian family favoring the distinct design. They were first seen in creative director Demna Gvasalia’s inaugural Balenciaga collection (fall 2016) at Paris Fashion Week. Offered in a variety of lengths, colors, prints, and materials, the Knife boots have been worn by everyone from Rihanna to Hailey Bieber to Miley Cyrus and Alexa Demie.

Notably, Kim Kardashian has worn a skin-tight denim version and Michelle Obama donned a glittering, iridescent gold pair of high-high Knife boots during her book tour.

Prior to Demna Gvasalia’s appointment as artistic director of Balenciaga in 2015, the Georgian designer co-founded Vetements (French for clothes) and served as the avant-garde brand’s creative head until 2019. Gvasalia has picked up several awards for this work, including International Ready-To-Wear Designer of the Year at The Fashion Awards in 2016, International Designer of the Year at the 2017 CFDA’s Fashion Awards, and Accessories Designer of the Year at the Fashion Awards in 2018.
