Lizzo was out and about in New York City today showcasing a spring-ready ensemble set off by a pair of stiletto boxing boots hailing from Jaded London.
The “About Damn Time” singer modeled a pastel-hued maxi dress featuring a faded image of a cat on the front. She wore a bright red layer over this, a cardigan with looping fringe lining part of the garment and ruffly detailing elsewhere. The sweater was tied in front and showcased a jagged hemline. Lizzo wore her hair in a voluminous curly style with blonde touches and displayed a pair of narrow black-rimmed glasses as well.
As for her shoes, the pop star, went for a heeled knee-high boxing boot from the brand Jaded London. She donned a burgundy colorway with yellow stitching and yellow laces which go up to the top of the shaft. The stiletto heel measures just two inches, making it a kitten heel height that’s not too difficult to walk in compared to other soaring heel options in the footwear market. The silhouette also includes a square-toe. The Brooke Boxing Boot is marked at a price of $350.
Lizzo isn’t the only musician to have shown appreciation for a boxing boot within the last year — Hayley Williams, the lead of singer of Paramore, wore a pair from Puma back in July while opening for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour in Amsterdam. The style is definitely popular outside of the boxing ring — during New York Fashion Week in February, Jonathan Cohen and Larroudé presented floral patterned boxing boots and boxing heels made in collaboration with one another.
