Lizzo is finished with production on her new album and is making the rounds promoting the singles off the upcoming record: “Still Bad” and the title track “Love in Real Life.” The musician appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Wednesday wearing an edgy black ensemble including a pair of strappy stiletto heels from Niihai with silver eyelets.
Lizzo, who is also set to appear as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend alongside host Jon Hamm, selected a sheer black dress from her brand Yitty for the late night engagement. Worn over a black Yitty bodysuit, it was a long sleeve bodycon garment with horizontal ruching throughout. She modeled a curly hairstyle and her accessories included large silver hoop earrings.
As for her footwear, the “About Damn Time” singer went with a pair of heels from Niihai. The unique shoes feature the brand’s black eyelet strap design, which feautres two rows of rounded silver embellishments.
This edgy aesthetic is applied not only in a criss-cross design on the pointed toe mules but also on straps that wrap around the leg; notably, these straps can be removed entirely. The shoes are lifted up by a shiny silver stiletto heel which picks up the eyelet detailing. The Brigitte Heels, taking inspiration from the brand’s knee high boots, retail for $139.
Lizzo is a fan of unique footwear. In another instance of the singer donning bold shoes, she was out and about in New York City in March wearing a pair of heeled boxing boots from Jaded London; the shoes were burgundy with yellow laces. Another daring shoe look from the musician was a voluminous fuzzy boot she wore at the WeHo Pride Parade in June.
