Now working with stylist Andrew Mukamal, Lily Collins has been going dark as of late. She kept up the trend, appearing in Times Square wearing a deep burgundy top and skirt set replete with a pair of dark burgundy heels featuring a pointed toe.
Collins is in the midst of promoting the latest series of episodes from her Netflix show “Emily in Paris,” in which she stars. This morning, the show announced that in addition to launching part two of Season Four, it has also been renewed for a fifth season. Collins made the announcement while on air with “Good Morning America,” wearing a crop skin midriff baring crop top as well as a ruffle embellished skirt of the same skin.
For shoes, Collins wore a pair of Saint Laurent heels. The shoes contained a sharp toe box that has become a signature for the brand. It is elongated and pointed but features a flat front. The vamp mimics this flat front with a square shaped cut.
In addition the shoe features a flared heel design.
The design is the Saint Laurent Calista slingback. It’s not currently available in this iteration. Made in Italy, it adds about four inches of height and includes a small metal ring on the slingback strap on the side of the foot. Another small ring at the back connects the two side straps to an ankle strap for additional security. While the company does not offer the Calista, the Anouk is a slightly similar shoe available at Farfetch.
Saint Laurent has been a major proponent of slingbacks, though most do not include the ankle strap, which can be construed as more of a sandal design. Zoe Kravitz, a face of the brand, has often been seen in them as has Zoe Saldana.
