Lily Collins had an all-black moment while visiting The Paley Museum in New York City on Sept. 17.
The “Mirror Mirror” star arrived in Midtown wearing a black mini dress that featured a sheer bodice, which connected to satin panels along the shoulder pads and cuffs. She accessorized with a sparkling ring and a pair of diamond studs.
The sparkling cufflinks matched the Medusa accent that sat at the center of the crystal-embellished ankle strap of Collins’ Versace pumps. The Slice heels featured a black patent leather upper and an elongated pointed toe. The set was completed by the designer’s logo engraved into the top of the square heel, which stood about 4 inches tall. The pumps currently retail for $1,950.
Collins was dressed by Andrew Mukamal who can also be credited for the Saint Laurent slingback heels she wore to Times Square earlier this week. The stylist has also worked with other stars like Margot Robbie, Zoe Kravitz and Hoyeon Jung.
The actress visited the museum to participate in the “Emily in Paris: The Magic Behind the Scenes” panel. Collins and her castmates spoke about how tedious the wardrobe selection process is for the hit Netflix series. She shared that this year’s season required two days of fittings. “So I have 16 hours of fittings — a record-breaking 81 looks in those two days this year,” Collins commented.
When she’s not filming in Paris, the actress still embodies her character with a French girl-chic style that showcases styles like sleek black loafers and matching Chanel boy bags. The “To The Bone” star often attends red-carpet events in platform heels, boots, and pointed-toe pumps from designer brands like Valentino, Celine, and Christian Louboutin. When she’s off duty, Collins tends to gravitate towards comfortable slippers from Birdies or sneakers from Nike or Lacoste.
