Lily Allen was photographed leaving the Duke of York’s Theatre after a performance of “The Pillowman” in London yesterday.
Although her footwear was not visible under the lengthy hem of her dress, it’s likely the “Smile” songstress wore some sort of pointed-toe pump in a color that matched the color of her dress. This is based on Allen’s previous footwear choices during her stint at “The Pillowman.”
For example, on Aug. 25, Allen stepped out yet again post-performance in a pair of sharp white pointed-toe pumps. Her footwear was crafted out of durable and glossy white patent leather and featured thin heels, around 3 to 4 inches, along with knife-like triangular toes and a walkable, sturdy construction.
Looking ethereal, the “Not Fair” singer donned a light blue floor-length Giorgio Armani dress in a halter-neck style. The garment featured a voluminous sheer tulle overlay which included a dainty floral print. The multiple straps on the dress were dotted with light blue rhinestones, offering her look a high-shine finish.
Allen’s usual footwear choices deviate between grungy and glamorous. The musician can often be found wearing boots and heeled sandals accompanied by platform soles from top brands, including Miu Miu and Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini.
Pointed-toe and platform pumps are also one of her go-tos both on and off the red carpet, from brands like Christian Louboutin and Saint Laurent. During casual occasions, the British star regularly sports chunky boots and sneakers from a range of brands, including UNIF, Pleaser and Off-White.
“The Pillowman” is a comedy-drama play written by Martin McDonagh about a fiction writer in a totalitarian state who is interrogated about the gruesome content of his short stories, and their similarities to a number of bizarre incidents occurring in his town.
