Laura Dern attended the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards held tonight in Los Angeles. During the ceremony, Dern reunited with fellow “Big Little Lies” co-star Reese Witherspoon.
The “Jurrasic Park” star rolled up to the red carpet in a pair of black leather pumps. The Edwina style, hailing from Gabriela Hearst, featured lush black calf leather uppers, rose gold hardware, pointed toes and 2.9-inch block heels.
Retailing for $1250, the silhouette is timeless and versatile, although the pump was further updated with help from the rose gold accents. The block heels offered Dern a comfortable boost in height. Beyond black leather, the designer shoe also comes in more striking brown suede, cream and silver styles. Worn and re-worn since their conception, black pumps have a place in everyone’s wardrobes.

Celebs and non-celebs alike love the silhouette for its versatility. No matter what they’re paired with, black pumps impart a sophisticated touch, dressing up just about any look. Comparable styles to Dern’s own can be purchased from brands like Marc Fisher, Nine West and Ferragamo.
Repping the brand from head to toe, the “Blue Velvet” actress wore a coordinating black Gabriela Hearst gown. Made of a mix of silk and wool, the garment sat off-the-shoulders and featured glossy ornate button closures down the front and a floor-sweeping skirt. Additionally, Dern carried a plush red Gabriela Hearst clutch made to look like a rosette accompanied by a Sabyasachi palm necklace.
