Lady Gaga turned a bold look for a performance with The Rolling Stones at their Hackney Diamonds album release party in New York City on Thursday night.
Channeling the iconic DC Comics character Harley Quinn — who she portrays in the upcoming 2024 “Joker: Folie à Deux” film — Gaga hit the stage in a custom red-and-black asymmetrical sequined jumpsuit featuring a plunging neckline and flared legs that gave way to soaring platform pumps.
Photographed after the show, the Oscar-winning singer-songwriter offered up the peace sign to paparazzi as she pounded the pavement in a glamorous rock star look complete with black statement stilettos. She wore a style she’s been seen in on many occasions for years — Pleaser’s glossy patent leather lace-up ankle boots.
Pleaser’s Flamingo-1020 boots ($94), which are available in a variety of other colorway options online, stand on a towering 8-inch heel and a 4-inch platform. The “Star is Born” actress pulled her striking look with a gauzy black and silver patterned necktie.
Gaga isn’t the only star who is a fan of Pleaser platforms. Gwen Stefani, Billie Eillish, Kate Beckinsale, Kim Kardashian and more have all shown love for the popular Southern California-based brand founded in 1993.
Over the years, Gaga has time and again displayed her fondness for taking sartorial risks. Some of her favorite footwear brands aside from Pleaser range from Giuseppe Zanotti to Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik.
Recently, her Born This Way Foundation dropped a collaboration with Cotton On that included limited edition denim jackets, T-shirts, tote bags and more. Their aim with the capsule was to raise $5 million to benefit youth-focused mental health organizations.
