Kerry Washington Goes Glam in Super Pointy Slingback Pumps and Two-Piece Navy Blue Set at Michael Kors Fall 2025 Show
Kerry Washington made an appearance at the Michael Kors fall RTW 2025 fashion show as part of New York Fashion Week in a pair of pointed-toe slingback pumps from the brand.
Sporting Michael Kors from head-to-toe, the pumps were crafted with patent leather, and emphasized by their triangular design in the upper. A singular slender black strap was present along the mid-foot, crossing into another slim black buckled strap that wrapped around her ankle. While the back of the shoe couldn’t be seen completely, it’s likely the silhouette was completed by a stiletto heel measuring between 4-to-5 inches in height based on Washington’s previous preferences.
The pumps were also a compliment to her outfit, which saw her wearing the brand’s plunge-neck bodysuit and the Cascade Draped Wool Midi Skirt, which she paired with the Ravello Leather belt. The “Scandal” star accessorized her outfit with the Manhattan Leather Shoulder bag, giving the perfect mixture of Hollywood glamour.

The current versions of pointed-toe pumps are a classic model that merges elements of that retro style with current 2020s inspiration.
The silhouette has become a preferred shoe for red carpets and formal occasions, as the popularity of the slim stiletto heel began re-emerging at the start of the 2020s. Many brands such as Michael Kors, Stuart Weitzman and Gucci offer a wide range of pointed-pumps throughout the season. In-fact, singer Ciara was also spotted in pointed-toe pumps while attending Tory Burch‘s Fall 2025 show during New York Fashion Week on Monday.
Sporting the brand’s popular Pierced pump from their Fall 2024 offering, the shoes were made with black leather, boasted a curvy 3.54-inch heel and featured a pointed toe topped with an “aerodynamic,” two-tone metal ring meant to give the illusion of a toe ring. Those pumps retail for $468, and also come in a “Sienna Red” colorway.
The “Level Up” star completed her look with a black and brown midi dress from the designer’s Spring 2025 collection.
