Kerry Washington Goes White Hot With Classic Pointed Pumps for ‘Ezra’ Premiere
Kerry Washington attended a storytelling and screening event of Bleecker Street’s “Ezra” at Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif on Tuesday evening wearing a pair of dark brown pointed-toe pumps.
The “Scandal” actress’ shoes were crafted with suede material, and featured an angular pointed-toe design complemented by its closed-toe design. While the back of the pumps couldn’t be seen fully, the shoes were likely elevated by a stiletto heel ranging between 3 and 4 inches based on Washington’s love of high-rising pumps and stilettos.
Washington is no stranger to sharp footwear styles with towering heights. Earlier this year, she attended Ralph Lauren’s fall 2024 show in a sharp pair of Jimmy Choo platform sandals that featured a shiny metallic stiletto style, which itself was boosted by a peep-toe construction. In September 2023, the actress was photographed in a pair of black pointed-toe boots from Paris Texas, that were made of a black suede material and featured a thin stiletto heel that reached at least 4 inches in height. Washington is known for preferring Versace, Jimmy Choo and others as some of her favorite footwear designers.

As far as the rest of her outfit goes, the actress wore a flowy white-tiered dress as she was spotted alongside her mother and former “Scandal” co-star Guillermo Diaz. The slightly oversized gown featured a layered design, and was emphasized by its precise plunging v-neck cut. Additionally Washington paired the dress with a simple pair of silver hoop earrings, which she accentuated with a sleek middle part bun and a dewy makeup look.
Directed by Tony Goldwin, “Ezra” is about a divorced standup comedian named Maxy who’s struggling to raise his autistic son, Ezra. Forced to confront difficult decisions about the boy’s future, Max and Ezra embark on a cross-country road trip that has a transcendent impact on both of their lives. The film is set to premiere nationally on May 31.
