She was a lady in red.
The 2024 Tribeca Festival was a family affair for Kerry Washington, who stepped out to attend the premiere of her husband Nnamdi Asomugha’s directorial debut, “The Knife.” Washington made a memorable appearance on the June 9 carpet in an all-red ensemble, wearing a textured gown consisting of layered transparent squares and patent leather red heels.
The fitted dress included a high neck and a structured shoulder pad design. The actress and producer accessorized with a glimmering silver bracelet and rings.
Washington was also present at previous Tribeca events this year as an advisory board member for the mentorship program Through Her Lens, which supports female and non-binary independent filmmakers in partnership with Chanel. Fittingly, Washington was dressed entirely in Chanel for the June 7 luncheon and panel, wearing a bold pink and black jacket with a matching skirt and a white t-shirt. She paired the outfit with a pair of black open-toed stilettos which included a strap around the ankle.
The following day of the festival, Washington participated in a conversation with Nicole Avant called Legacy and Impact in Storytelling. She looked effortlessly chic in a brown leather pantsuit complete with a pair of tan pumps.
Not long before appearing at Tribeca, Washington wore a striking pair of Thom Browne Brogue Spectator Curved High Heels to complement an intricately embroidered outfit by the designer.
