After turning heads in a fiery red outfit at the Le Défilé L’Oréal show earlier this week at Paris Fashion Week, Kendall Jenner stepped out in the fashion-forward city on Sept. 25 wearing black kitten heel pumps with two different sophisticated dresses.
Jenner was on her way to attend a fashion show put on by The Row, the luxury brand founded by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. The supermodel dressed up for the event in a layered black ensemble including a swishy slip skirt and a woven top with a frayed hemline.
The dress also featured a scoop neck and wide straps. Jenner, naturally a brunette, continued to rock her recently debuted blonde waves. She also accented the look with black sunglasses and a simple clutch, keeping her look minimalist but chic.
Jenner rounded out the understated look with a pair of black kitten heel pumps. The classic shoes featured a pointed toe and a vamp that covered the sides and back of the foot in addition to the toes. The outline of the upper was gently curved, contrasting the angularity of the toe. The sole arched slightly to support a small heel which tapered dramatically in an inverted pyramid shape.
The supermodel, who is 5′ 11″ tall, doesn’t need too high of a heel to still look modelesque. Her kitten heel looks similar to a pair by Marion Parke, but more like Jenner’s can be found from brands like Manolo Blahnik or Jimmy Choo, in addition to a range of other companies.
On the same day in Paris, Jenner was out and about in a navy ensemble which also played with texture and layering. She wore a knee-length, long sleeve dress with a structured corset layer and an asymmetrical scarf feature which formed a draping cowl neck; additional folds added texture to the pencil skirt.
Not to be outdone by inclement weather, Jenner stayed safe from the famous Parisian rain with a matching navy umbrella. And yet again, she elevated the ensemble with the subtle elegance of a low-heeled black pump.
