Kendall Jenner was photographed attending her sister Kim Kardashian‘s birthday party held at Funke restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday.
Beyond Kendall, other notable attendees included Ivana Trump, Hailey Bieber, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian and Kimora Lee Simmons, among others. Kim Kardashian is turning 43.
Taking to the streets of Los Angeles, Kendall sported a pair of black big-toe sandal heels. The style was backless and featured a strap-heavy construction comprised of black leather uppers, pointed toes and thin straps that wrapped around the model’s feet and separated her big toe from the rest, creating a thong-esque appearance. Additionally, Kendall’s footwear included gold chain detailing, offering the shoe silhouette a high-shine finish, along with 2 to 3 inch stiletto heels.
The big-toe silhouettes became a celebrity-endorsed style in the summer of 2019 and have gone on to become a go-to style in the shoe wardrobes of major stars including Katy Perry, Lori Harvey and Katie Holmes, amongst others. The style gives the wearer a breezy easy-going appearance with the stability and familiarity of the 1990s.

Getting dressy, Kendall was outfitted in a bodycon maxi dress featuring an intricate pattern. The garment consisted of brown, tan and white tones, crafted of a high-shine fabric that almost looked like it was made of scales. Additionally, the dress included long sleeves and a high neckline. Rounding out her look, Kendall sported chunky black shades.
When it comes to footwear the former “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star typically wears a variety of both classic and trendy styles. For events and formal appearances, Jenner regularly dons strappy sandals and mules from brands Amina Muaddi, Bottega Veneta and Saint Laurent. For off-duty moments and casual ensembles, she can be spotted in Nike and Converse sneakers, Birkenstock sandals and a range of boots from Khaite, The Row and Stella McCartney.
