Kelsea Ballerini Slips Into Chelsea Boots for Date Night With Boyfriend Chase Stokes After ‘SNL’ Performance
Kelsea Ballerini hit the streets of New York City after performing as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live.” To celebrate the show, the country star enjoyed a date night with her boyfriend, Outer Banks lead Chase Stokes, on March 5.
The Pop Country Music singer leaned toward wearing a very Manhattan-chic ensemble. Ballerini wore a black oversized and ribbed turtle-neck sweater atop a satin black miniskirt.
To complete her look, Ballerini slipped into a pair of chunky chelsea boots. The style featured a rounded toebox with a seemingly 2-inch platform outsole.
Stokes was only a foot behind with multi-colored low Nike dunks in mustard yellow, a hint of green, creme and muted brown hues; his white shoe laces balanced out the patchy colors.
Earlier that weekend, Ballerini served two different outfits on “SNL.”
Styled by fashion stylist Molly Dickson, Ballerini wore an all-black jumpsuit that featured cutouts and also a long-sleeve white gown with a plunged neckline on the show.
For her “Penthouse” performance, her sartorial white gown had a warped detail at the center of the bodice met with the v-shaped neckline.
The artist has been one to watch on the fashion front. During New York Fashion Week, Ballerini attended Carolina Herrera’s presentation covered in bright pink hues and heart-shaped features pairing an open-slit midi dress with slinky open-toe sandals. And at PatBo’s runway show, Ballerini donned a red lip, a sequined PatBo blazer and pants set and white pointed-toe pumps.
