Kelsea Ballerini brought sleek style to this year’s Time 100 Next red carpet.
While attending the event in New York City for the occasion — which honored the musician as one of Time magazine’s Time 100 Next leaders, marking her appearance on its latest cover — Ballerini struck a pose in a slick pair of black sandals. The “If You Go Down” singer’s style featured smooth uppers with a minimalist silhouette, thanks to its thin front and slingback straps.
Ballerini’s shoes were complete with thin stiletto heels, bringing her a sharp height boost. Similarly open heels were a popular choice for the evening, as seen on guests including Rachel Zegler, Stephanie Hsu and Alexandra Cooper.
The “Rolling Up the Welcome Mat” musician’s heels added a versatile base to her attire for the occasion, styled by Molly Dickson: a black dress from Stella McCartney‘s fall 2023 collection. The long-sleeved style featured two slit cutouts across its bodice for a daring edge, cinched by gleaming metallic silver knots on either end for a surrealist flair. Ballerini opted to accent McCartney’s piece with sparkling diamond stud earrings, allowing the dress’ silhouette and textures to make a sleek statement for the occasion.
