Kelsea Ballerini brought modern glamour — with a touch of romance — to Venice with boyfriend Chase Stokes.
While in Venice, Italy for Giorgio Armani‘s “One Night Only” Armani Privé fashion show — also held during the Venice Film Festival — Ballerini posed in a set of hidden high heels. Though the musician’s footwear couldn’t be seen, they likely encompassed a heeled sandal or pointed-toe pump silhouette, given similar shoes worn by other guests at the show and Ballerini’s penchant for both styles over the years.
Stylist Molly Dickson outfitted the “Hanging Up the Welcome Mat” musician in a strapless black gown with a lightly squared neckline, which flowed into a draped, flounced train made from numerous layers of sheer black silk. The piece was given a burst of glamour from lines of vertical dark sequins embroidered across its bodice, creating the illusion of a structured corset effect — while its neckline was covered in sparkling silver and black crystals for added sparkle.
Ballerini’s attire was simply complemented with diamond drop earrings, allowing her outfit’s textures and silhouette to have greater focus. Stokes, meanwhile, smoothly complemented her formalwear in a dapper outfit: dark trousers with a white shirt and tuxedo jacket, paired with glossy black slip-on loafers.

Giorgio Armani’s “One Night Only” Armani Privé fashion show was held in conjunction with the Venice Film Festival, featuring an afterparty with music by Mark Ronson. Guests in the star-studded front row included Kerry Washington, Jessica Chastain, Kelsea Ballerini and Cami Mendes.
The Venice Film Festival will feature international movies and cinematic shorts debuting for the new season. The 80th annual event is also taking place during the SAG-AFTRA strike, which has current interim agreements to allow U.S. actors to appear at the occasion. Aside from numerous premieres — including “Maestro,” “Priscilla” and “Ferrari” — the week will conclude with its starry amFar Gala, featuring performances by Leona Lewis and Rita Ora.
