The world premiere of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” featured dynamic glamour both on and off-screen, thanks to its all-star audience.
During the occasion in Beverly Hills, Beyoncé’s latest accomplishment — her “Renaissance” concert movie, which arrives in theaters Dec. 1 — was celebrated by an array of her friends, family and fellow entertainers. Mother Tina Knowles, Kelly Rowland and more leaned into the film’s disco-worthy glamour with embellished mules and platforms. Meanwhile, on the sultrier side, stars including Gabrielle Union, Normani and more slipped on sharp black heels in glossy, cutout and see-through silhouettes.
Rowland made a dynamic entrance in a shimmering silver Jean Paul Gaultier dress — complete with the brand’s signature cone-bra bodice — and chainmail-strapped mules with metallic stiletto heels. The former Destiny’s Child star’s bold attire was complemented by stylist Kollin Carter with gleaming diamond rings, bracelets and stud earrings for a bejeweled edge.
Tina Knowles celebrated her daughter’s latest accomplishment in a set of block-heeled platform sandals, complete with a covering of twinkling crystals. The glittering set added a sparkly finish to the House of Deréon designer’s outfit for the occasion: a black dress with crystals arranged in various lengths across its long sleeves, paired with a feather-covered clutch.
Gabrielle Union posed at the premiere in a black Cong Tri dress — a sleeveless design from the designer’s fall 2023 collection, featuring a sheer bodice and embellished faux-fur maxi skirt. The bold piece was smoothly paired with black pointed-toe mules for the occasion, while a shining finish came from Tiffany & Co.’s white gold and diamond T1 necklace and Lock bangle bracelets.
Michelle Williams stepped out in over-the-knee boots and a sweeping black dress by “Project Runway: All Stars” winner Bishme Cromartie. The former Destiny’s Child star’s attire featured a matte bodice with a sculpted neckline, which flowed into a sheer skirt with a frothy tiered hem.
Chloe Bailey — who attended the premiere alongside her sister, Halle Bailey — made a colorful arrival in a purple suede keyhole dress from LaQuan Smith’s fall 2023 collection. The “Mercy” singer’s cutout attire was accented with hidden silver heels, as well as gleaming silver metal hoop earrings and bangles for a high-shine finish.
