Kelly Clarkson gave business-worthy style a bold edge while in New York City.
On Saturday, Clarkson stepped out at 30 Rockefeller Plaza to film content for the fifth season of “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” For the occasion, the musician wore a towering pair of black leather boots. Her platform-soled style featured narrow toes, as well as side-zipped uppers.
The pair earned a slick twist, however, from its heels: thin stilettos, totaling at least 5 inches in height to bring Clarkson a soaring height boost.
Clarkson’s boots served as a sharp base for the rest of her outfit, which featured slim black trousers and a matching Alexander McQueen blazer. However, the $4,300 piece earned an edgy twist from its silhouette, which included a peplum waistline trimmed in gleaming silver zippers for a punky statement. An array of silver rings, as well as large matching hoop earrings, finished Clarkson’s attire with a modern edge.
Clarkson’s shoe style ranges from bohemian to edgy. The “Kelly Clarkson Show” host often wears ankle and combat boots with block or stiletto heels from top brands like Saint Laurent, Christian Louboutin and R13. Her ensembles also feature trendy footwear like Mary Janes, loafers and kitten heels from brands like Miu Miu, Chie Mihara and Gucci. For formal occasions, Clarkson often wears embellished pointed-toe pumps and sandals from brands like Amina Muaddi, Bottega Veneta and Balmain — plus affordable labels like ASOS. Her off-duty looks frequently feature sneakers by Converse and APL, as well.
