Keke Palmer is still on her high streak of fashion looks. The actor has been catching attention while on her “One of Those Days” tour. With her shock of new red hair, she and stylist Zoe Costello were turning out look after look, occasionally opting for vintage looks. But at the “SNL50: The Anniversary Special,” styled by creative director Sergio Hudson, Palmer proves she’s still got the juice.

The stunner attended the event in a brown cutout halter dress from Tom Ford. For accessories, she chose gold rings and earrings.

The dress featured a knee-high slit up the front which revealed her shoes: a pair of Tom Ford Newton sandals. The shoes are brown leather and treated with a snake-effect. The Newton sandal, named after fashion photographer Helmut Newton, features a silhouette that curves like a snake. The strap frames the foot, going across the toes before wrapping across the front of the foot and then becoming the back of the shoe. The style also features an ankle strap and a gilded stiletto heel of just over four inches. The heel is a Ford signature.

The snake-effect the upper has been treated to is an exclusive edition of the shoe done for Net-a-Porter. That version is still available for $1,590.

Tom Ford is known for his ability to make sexy and glamorous clothing as well as shoes. He came to the fore in fashion with his reinvention of Gucci into a high-octane glam disco before going on to take over Saint Laurent. When he unexpectedly left both brands — the relationship dissolved amid contract renewal negotiations — he later established his own namesake brand. That began with eyewear in 2010 and has slowly expanded to include women’s ready-to-wear, men’s, beauty and more. He stepped down from the brand in 2023.

This weekend has seen the celebration of 50 years of “Saturday Night Live.” On Friday, that included a concert event. Tonight is the anniversary special with the likes of Cher, Miley Cyrus, Pedro Pascal, Miles Teller and Leslie Jones as guests to participate.
