Katy Perry Turns Heads in Sportmax Stretch Open-Toed Knee-High Boots at Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center Opening Ceremony in New York

Katy Perry attended the grand opening ceremony for the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center hosted by Pride Live in New York on Friday.
Beyond Perry, a slew of members and supporters of the LGBTQ+ community were in attendance including Michael Kors, Cynthia Erivo, Jill Biden, Elton John, Adam Lambert, Irina Shayk and Billy Eichner, among others.
The “Last Friday Night” singer stepped out in unique Sportmax Stretch nappa-leather thong boots in a stark bone shade. Retailing for $903, the set, in the “Optical White” colorway, features a knee-high construction with zip-up closures all down the back and breezy square open-toes. Additionally, the footwear featured thong straps and 3.5-inch stiletto heels, offering Perry a substantial boost in height. If white isn’t your thing, Miu Miu also makes a similar open-toed thong style in black leather, white leather and a textural deep suede brown.
Repping the same brand from head to toe, Perry was styled in a striking Sportmax Origami dress, also in a bone hue. The dress was strapless, cinched, long and folded in on itself, creating the illusion of dimension through pleating, hence the garment’s artistic namesake.

The “Dark Horse” singer has been going through a style renaissance as of late, switching things up to fit the aesthetic of her upcoming single titled “Woman’s World” set to release on July 11. Her ensembles these days are futuristic-leaning and sharp, inspired by edgy motocross wear.
In a general sense, Perry has previously been seen in pointed-toe pumps, flats and mules by labels like Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta and Manolo Blahnik. For footwear, the “Hot N’ Cold” singer’s shoe style is bold and sleek. The television personality often coordinates her shoes to her ensembles both on and off the stage. Off-duty, Perry gravitates toward comfortable sneakers and slides by Adidas, Saint Laurent and Birkenstock.
