Katy Perry Leans Into Her Rock Star Era Wearing a Monochromatic Leather Look and New Rock Boots on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
Katy Perry made an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Jan. 29 wearing an edgy monochrome look set off by a pair of black pointed-toe boots.
Perry, who has exited the judging panel of “American Idol” and is setting off on “The Lifetimes Tour” this year, paid a visit to Kimmel in Los Angeles in an ensemble exuding a laidback rocker vibe. She wore pair of baggy leather jeans featuring horizontal slits at the thigh adorned with silver studs.
She appeared to be wearing a matching set, with the top being a fitted, strapless leather piece lined with studs at the top; it also featured a metallic ovular centerpiece. The “Firework” singer accessorized with layered silver necklaces and silver earrings.
While partially obscured by her pants, thanks to a series of photos she shared on Instagram of her perched on top of a toilet, it was clear that Perry chose a pair of black boots to complement her ensemble. The singer wore a leather pair hailing from New Rock’s Malicia Collection. The shoes featured a pointed toe that lifted up slightly in front, reminiscent of that of a cowboy boot. The boots also included buckle adornments, which aligned with the singer’s edgy aesthetic.

Another noteworthy design element was the heel, which appeared to switch up the color scheme with a silver hue. New Rock’s boots are made in Spain and the company uses natural leather in its rockstar-inspired designs, which are sold in over 65 countries.
The singer was on the show to promote her upcoming world tour. What outfits might we see on The Lifetimes Tour? Fans known that Perry appreciates a bold onstage look. Taking the stage at Jingle Ball 2024, for example, she wore a pair of metallic silver over-the-knee boots with a block heel in addition to another pair of metallic silver thigh-high boots with a stiletto heel.
