Katie Holmes took her everywoman style to New York Fashion Week, thanks to one of her most-worn shoes.
On Sunday morning, Holmes arrived to Powerhouse Arts in Brooklyn, New York for Ulla Johnson‘s spring 2024 runway show. During the Fashion Week affair, Holmes slipped on her go-to boots: Staud‘s $495 Wally style, which featured faintly slouchy knee-high shafts, lightly squared toes and tonal front stitching. The black leather pair was complete with short 2.2-inch heels, providing Holmes with a subtle height boost during the occasion.
The aforementioned boots are one of Holme’s most-worn styles in her footwear rotation, which she’s been seen on and off-duty in numerous times over the years. In fact, the “Dawson’s Creek” actress has even worn the same shoes to another Johnson runway — the designer’s fall 2023 show, held in February.
During Johnson’s show, Holmes layered her boots beneath a calf-length maroon dress. The long-sleeved piece featured a bohemian mock-neck with a draped and braided bodice, complemented by a matching braided waist belt. Holmes finished her ensemble with smooth bronzed gold drop earrings, a dark burgundy leather clutch — complete with gleaming silver hardware — and a ridged gold cuff bracelet, similarly to Johnson’s own free-spirited aesthetic.
The “Batman Begins” star was one of numerous actresses in attendance, as well, seated alongside Zooey Deschanel, Lily Rabe and Judy Greer for the occasion.
NYFW is held in New York City in September, marking the start of Fashion Month. The spring 2024 season will see a calendar of fashion shows and presentations from a range of designers, including Ralph Lauren, Christian Siriano, Proenza Schouler and more. The occasion will also include numerous parties and activations from brands like Aldo, J.Crew, MCM and more.
