Katie Holmes opted for relaxed but stylish attire while in Paris for couture week, dressed in dark jeans, a chic jacket and black leather boots for the Patou spring/summer 2025 show on June 27.
The French fashion house Patou is known to sell a range of jackets featuring gold buttons. Fittingly, Holmes was dressed for the fashion show in a dark navy jacket with a dramatic red collar adding a splash of vibrant color; she had one of her gold buttons in the front fastened. The jacket was paired with wide leg denim jeans in a dark blue wash. Offering another bright focal point to the outfit, Holmes carried a white leather purse. This accessory was the finishing touch to the a red, white and blue color scheme — a suitable choice for an event in Paris showcasing the work of a French brand.
Holmes’ long pants partially obscured her shoes; it was clear, however, that the black leather boots featured a pointed toe and a tall heel. They picked up her dark jacket and completed the look with a simple but polished aesthetic.
Holmes is known for skillfully curating elevated streetwear looks. She often opts for ballet flats, and has shown her love of the shoe by wearing a variety of distinctive iterations of the style. She wore Chanel Mary Jane-style flats with two straps while out in New York’s SoHo neighborhood earlier in June; while attending Alan Cumming’s cabaret show in NYC in March, Holmes wore an edgier pair by Miu Miu. Indeed, the actress and director doesn’t shy away from a unique shoe, like these off-white leather Aria boots by Nomasei.
