Katie Holmes was seen out and about in New York City on Thursday, kicking back in a pair of classic loafers from Gucci.
The actress loves a good pair of flats as seen in some of her recent looks. On March 29, Holmes took to the sunny New York City streets, wearing Acne Studios‘ square-toe block heel loafers. The black leather slip-on shoes feature a wide square toe with contrasting stitching and ruching.
Then, on March 26, she showed off a pair of edgy black Miu Miu Belt Detailed Ballerina Flats, elegantly made with sleek leather. These flats embrace the fashion house’s signature preppy style with an edgy flair. Holmes also started the year off in January in silver ballet flats with black ankle socks while casually strolling in Manhattan.

About the Shoes
The Gucci Jordaan loafer is the brand’s newest Horsebit loafer. The shoe is made up of black leather with a pronounced Horsebit detail on the top of the foot. With its slim shape, the Italian-made pair is equipped with a leather sole on a short heel.
The Horsebit loafers, known for their unique metal detail across the vamp, stand apart from other loafer styles. The name “bit loafer” originates from the horsebit snaffle, and these shoes quickly gained popularity as the ideal business footwear, particularly on Wall Street.
Gucci’s Enduring Heritage
In 1921, Guccio Gucci established the eponymous fashion house in Florence, Italy. Throughout the past century, the label has solidified its position in the fashion industry due to its commitment to quality materials and exceptional craftsmanship. The iconic double G logo, designed by Gucci’s son, has graced the red carpets of numerous high-profile events, adorning top celebrities. The brand’s influence has attracted an impressive roster of global ambassadors, including Dakota Johnson, Harry Styles and Jared Leto.
Gucci’s Shoe Styles and Collaborations
In addition to their signature collections, Gucci has gained significant attention through its collaborations in the footwear sector. The brand’s iconic monogram print has been incorporated into popular footwear styles, such as Balenciaga’s Triple S Sneaker and the Adidas Gazelle. Collaborations have also highlighted Gucci’s own shoe silhouettes, including the Horsebit loafer and the Ace sneakers.
